The iHV is committed to supporting health visitors with evidence‑informed resources that promote every child’s development, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

In this section, you will find resources for practitioners (presented within key topics areas) aimed at supporting their work to promote healthy development, identify developmental needs and atypical development, and work collaboratively with families and other professionals to deliver early intervention, connecting families to community and specialist support where this is needed. We continue to develop and enhance these materials to ensure health visitors and their teams have the knowledge and confidence they need to improve outcomes for all babies, children, and families.
