We are building strong alliances with partners and organisations who share our vision and want to work together to improve health and reduce inequalities for babies, children, families and communities. Be part of our journey and help turn our vision into reality.

Many of our most impactful projects have only been made possible thanks to the vision and commitment of our grant-giving partners. From cutting-edge research, groundbreaking films and evidence-based resources to support excellence in health visiting practice – to support for our policy-influencing and advocacy work – we are deeply grateful to our partners for their support which has played a crucial role in advancing our mission.

Despite this progress, we still have more to do – and we won’t stop until every baby and child in the UK has the best possible start in life, and families are supported by a universal, accessible and high-quality health visiting service.

Shared goals:

The iHV works collaboratively with organisations to co‑create partnerships that support their priorities while advancing our shared ambition for all babies, children, and families to thrive. Our approach is rooted in mutual benefit, respect, and shared learning. We have a strong track record of building successful, high‑impact partnerships, demonstrating that this model works and delivers real value for organisations and the families they serve. This approach reflects best practice across leading independent charities and nursing organisations.

Ethical principles:

All partnerships are grounded in the iHV’s mission, values, and commitment to improving outcomes for babies, children, and families. We actively welcome collaborations that align with these principles and contribute positively to our strategy and objectives. To ensure this alignment, we review partnership proposals carefully, proportionately, and responsibly.

In keeping with our values, we do not collaborate with organisations whose core activities are known to harm health, including those associated with tobacco, alcohol, gambling, or breastmilk substitutes (see iHV Ethical Principles for full exclusions). Our aim is to foster partnerships built on trust, integrity, and shared purpose.

Transparency about our partnerships:

The iHV is committed to openness about the ways we work with other organisations. We communicate clearly about the nature and purpose of each collaboration so that partners, professionals, and families can be confident that our work is ethical, transparent, and aligned with our mission.
