Guiding principles of iHV collaborations
All Institute of Health Visiting’s (iHV) resources, products and partnerships comply with the high standards that we set for evidence, ethics, and equality and diversity.
Organisational partnerships - unrestricted funding: Some of our partners choose to provide unrestricted funding – these flexible grants enable us to respond to emerging needs and ensure that resources are directed where they will have the greatest impact for babies, children and families, and the health visiting services that support them (across all areas of our core business in policy, learning and development, and innovation and research).
Commissioned collaborative project partnerships: We enjoy working alongside partners, parents and practitioners to shape solutions that genuinely meet their needs through an iterative process of co-production during the project and a structured process of test and learn. This ensures that the final products are relevant, practical, and capable of delivering real and lasting impact, whilst balancing flexibility, good governance and accountability (see iHV Innovation and Research section for details).
Collaborate on a research study
We work collaboratively with a wide range of partners and high-profile funders on a large portfolio of research and funded projects, covering a breadth of health visiting practice and public health priorities for babies, children and families.
