Training Terms and Conditions
By booking and attending an iHV training programme, where a fee is payable either by you or your organisation, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Payment must be received in full or a purchase order (PO) in place prior to the training date, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing by iHV.
The individual or organisation making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all registration is accurate and up to date.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to iHV. If a delegate is unable to attend, a substitute delegate may attend in their place as long as they meet any specified eligibility criteria.
Where a delegate fails to attend without prior notice, no refund or alternative training date will be provided.
iHV reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule training where circumstances require. In the event of cancellation by iHV, delegates will be offered:
-
A transfer to an alternative date where available; or
-
A full refund of the training fee paid.
iHV's liability shall be limited to the refund of the training fee and shall not extend to travel, accommodation, loss of earnings or any other consequential costs incurred by delegates or their organisations.
Delegates are responsible for ensuring they have adequate internet access, equipment and software to participate in online training.
iHV cannot be held responsible for technical issues arising from a delegate's equipment, internet connection or organisational IT restrictions.
Access links and joining instructions must not be shared with individuals who have not registered for the training.
Delegates are expected to attend all required sessions and participate professionally and respectfully.
For courses where certificates, CPD hours, assessments or accreditation are linked to attendance, delegates must meet the stated attendance requirements.
iHV reserves the right to refuse participation or remove individuals whose behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate or detrimental to the learning environment. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
The iHV applies the following conditions to the use of the resources provided to attendees following specific training:
- All resources provided via this platform remain the intellectual property of the iHV and are subject to copyright.
- The resources are provided only for use by the practitioner who attended iHV training, and downloaded materials should not be shared, copied or forwarded on to others. Never share your login details with others.
- No part of the materials provided should be used by the practitioner who attended iHV training (or anyone else) for any commercial gain.
- The resources provided may be reproduced or disseminated by the iHV Champion/Ambassador for training colleagues and consolidating their learning.
- The wording or content of the PowerPoint slidesets provided should not be amended without the permission of the iHV. Please advise us if you detect any issues and we will make appropriate amendments.
- Each slideset should be used in line with the associated lesson plans provided. This is for quality assurance purposes as the programmes provided have been benchmarked against national frameworks and standards.
- The content of the resources will be updated periodically to remain up to date. Participants should always access the latest version of resources via this iHV website when preparing for training.
- The iHV will not be liable for the quality of onward training delivery by its Champions/Ambassadors. It remains the participant's responsibility to undertake delivery of training as per the lesson plan provided and to monitor and respond to feedback from participants of their training using evaluation tools provided.
Where a training session is recorded, delegates will be informed in advance.
Recordings may be made available to registered delegates at the discretion of iHV and subject to any licensing, speaker or copyright restrictions.
Delegates must not reproduce, distribute or share recordings without written consent from iHV.
iHV is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment.
Delegates requiring reasonable adjustments or additional support should notify iHV as early as possible, ideally at the time of booking, to allow appropriate arrangements to be considered.
iHV reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme content, speakers, facilitators, venues, timings or delivery methods where necessary.
iHV will endeavour to notify delegates of any significant changes as soon as reasonably practicable.
