Since 2023, the iHV has been delighted to work collaboratively with Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales and The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood in support of our shared aims for babies, young children and families.
In June 2021, The Princess of Wales launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood to drive awareness of and action on the extraordinary impact of the early years, in order to transform society for the future. The Centre focuses on three key areas of activity:
- Research: supporting, delivering and showcasing high-quality research to shape activity and increase knowledge and to promote best practice;
- Collaboration: working with people from across the private, public and voluntary sectors and all walks of life to make positive change;
- Creating change: developing creative campaigns to raise awareness and inspire action to why early childhood matters and what we can do to make lasting change.

In particular, The Centre has supported our work at the iHV to shine a light on the vital work of health visitors and their important role in promoting infant wellbeing and social development. Our partnership work has included:
