Child sexual exploitation (CSE) is a form of child abuse where children and young people are manipulated, coerced or forced into sexual activity. Health visitors play a vital role in early identification and prevention of CSE by recognising risk indicators, listening to concerns, supporting families, and working with safeguarding partners to ensure children are protected and receive appropriate help.
