External Resources

We encourage practitioners to use trusted resources in their work with families, to promote confidence, safety, and consistent guidance (with numerous web-based options and apps available, resource selection will be locally driven).

Healthier Together

The iHV is proud to partner with Healthier Together, who has developed a wealth of high quality, evidence based resources to support the management of common childhood illnesses. These include information on ‘red/ amber/ green (RAG)’ symptoms rating, ‘when to worry and where to seek help?’ and safety-netting advice. Alongside this, the iHV has contributed further resources on other child public health-related topics. We continue to develop and enhance these materials to ensure that health visitors and their teams have the knowledge and confidence they need to improve health outcomes for all babies, children, and families.
